Rita Davis-Kirby is a trusted advisor for those seeking their dream properties in the breathtaking landscapes of North Georgia. With 25+ years of experience in finance, real estate and local government, she is a consistent top producer who excels in providing her clients with unparalleled service.

With her roots firmly planted in Blue Ridge, Rita’s career evolution is deeply intertwined with the landscapes of North Georgia and shaped by her family’s enduring legacy in property development. While climbing the ranks in banking, she studied finance at Reinhardt University. Building upon her experience in construction lending, she expanded her expertise by working for a real estate attorney and establishing her own title company. She then obtained her government finance education through the Carl Vinson Institute of Government at the University of Georgia and served as Fannin County’s financial director for eight years before finally transitioning to her first love—residential real estate. Her comprehensive knowledge of the local market, coupled with a gift for negotiation, resulted in her earning the distinguished Rookie of the Year designation at her previous brokerage.

Her love for the area’s natural beauty shines through in her work. Rita enjoys facilitating river and lakefront sales, and as an experienced horse owner, she is also an expert in equestrian properties. As a lifelong resident of Blue Ridge with deep ties to the community, her personal connection to the area enhances her ability to understand her clients’ needs and preferences. Exceptional customer service is simply the way she was raised. Her natural hospitality and ability to welcome clients to the area like family earn her the trust and appreciation of those she serves.

Active in her community, she is involved with the Appalachian Children’s Center and Breaking Chains, a North Georgia ministry. When not working with clients, she loves spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her horses. An accomplished fly-fisherwoman, she has explored wild and beautiful spots from the Toccoa River to the Snake River in Wyoming. She lives in Blue Ridge with her husband, Dane Kirby, Fannin County's Sheriff since 2009.
