Ellen Chu

Ellen Chu is known for her exceptional empathy and perseverance, not to mention keen interpersonal and negotiation skills. Her psychology and social work background afforded the ability to help others with grace, competence, and confidence. Ellen previously worked with immigrants for many years, providing the crucial services they needed and overcoming difficult obstacles with success, as she does in real estate. Above all she is kind, reliable, and a believer in going above and beyond in her level of assistance and professionalism.

Born in New York City, Ellen is fluent in Mandarin and English, and culturally sensitive. She earned a degree in Psychology from Stony Brook University, and an MSW in Social Work from Hunter College. Ellen additionally lived in Taiwan for several years and worked as an English Teacher. She will be your guide and advocate, whether you're from NYC or overseas, whether you're looking to buy, sell or rent your home in this great city.

Outside of her dedication to her clients and real estate practice, Ellen is an active person. She likes dancing, singing, kickboxing, rock climbing and yoga. Giving back to the community is also near and dear to her heart, and she tries to instill those values in her children. Ellen does volunteer work with her daughter on a monthly basis as well as annual fundraisers for various nonprofit organizations.
