Tara Ekelman

Tara is proud to be a lifelong resident of Wantagh, New York, and a member of the Wantagh Chamber of Commerce. She brings a keen understanding of real estate on Long Island. In addition, after spending over twenty years working in private school admissions in Manhattan, Tara has extensive experience partnering with families and forming meaningful and long-lasting relationships. She is knowledgeable about many different areas in the five boroughs, with a unique focus on the Upper West Side and the Upper East Side, and loves exploring all the city has to offer! Tara attended the State University of New York College at Geneseo, where she was an active member of Alpha Kappa Phi Sorority and is deeply familiar with the city of Rochester and its suburbs. She holds a degree in Sociology and Spanish.  

Tara's clients appreciate her sense of integrity, dedication, emotional intelligence, and good humor. She is driven and detail-oriented—the person you want on your team! Tara can often be found reading Pete the Cat with her son, trying new restaurants and recipes with her family and friends, enjoying all genres of music, walking the neighborhood with her rescue dog, and, on occasion, scuba diving in her favorite tropical destination, San Pedro, Belize.
