Julie grew up around real estate. Her mother was an investor and her sister has been a top broker for 30 years. In 1994, Julie started working with Royce Pinkwater at Sotheby's International Realty. From Sotheby's, Julie embarked on a long media and advertising career, holding executive management positions that included Publisher of MORE Magazine, Publisher of Fitness Magazine, VP Publisher of Ladies Home Journal, SVP Client Development at Univision Media, and SVP Advertising and Brand Solutions at Pivot TV. She ultimately felt it was time to go back to her first love—real estate.

Born and raised in the legendary San Remo building on Manhattan's Upper West Side, Julie attended Boston University, returning to New York City upon graduating. She has raised three children; two girls who attended Hewitt and a son who went to Allen-Stevenson. Desiring to spend more time at her home in Wainscott, New York, Julie made the move to full-time resident to fulfill her dream of living and working in the Hamptons.
